THE MOTHER'S MOUTH

The Mother’s Mouth is a comic book novella I drew in 2004 and 2005.
It’s about a woman named Virginia who travels to her hometown where
she starts dating someone who reminds her of her childhood ex-boyfriend.
She has the new boyfriend reenact episodes from her childhood.

The English version (Alternative Comics, 2006) is too long and clunky,
so I cut some pages out and made changes for the Spanish edition from
Apa Apa Comics, which is much better. Then I cut out more pages and changed
the color of the ink for the French Edition, re-titled Virginia and published
by Ca et La, which is the best version and also includes a mini-comic
insert of Echo and Narcissus, a short story from my collection GoddessHead.
